When Guido Van Helten travels the world to paint murals on massive structures, one thing the world famous painter always makes a point of doing is teaching children the art photography and drawing.

9 teenagers had the unique experience of learning how to convey art through photography.

The class was a 3-day opportunity, that started with taking pictures.

While kids today are used to taking pictures with phones or digital cameras, Guido taught these kids how to take pictures the old fashioned way.

The students learned how to develop the photos they took, using a plastic film canister and film solution liquid.

The film reel was hung up to dry overnight, before the next class.

The second day, Guido had each photo taken by each student. The kids learned how to scale the picture, to make it bigger or smaller, depending on their need.

Finally, the last day was drawing in detail. Learning shadowing techniques, shapes of eyes, and other skills that require paying attention to detail.
