SALINA – The USD 305 Board of Education and William D. Hall jointly state that the Board accepted the voluntary resignation of Superintendent Hall’s employment from the District on April 11, 2017. Mr. Hall neither broke his contract nor walked away. The Board thanked Superintendent Hall for his service to the District and wished him well.
Hall informed the Board Tuesday of his intentions to resign. The district said the resignation will be effective on June 30, 2017.
The Board previously voted not to renew Hall’s contract, which would have expired following the 2018-2019 school year. Hall previously stated that he intended to remain the Superintendent until the end of his contract.
