Two Hospitalized After Rollover Crash South of Salina

Two people were hospitalized after a rollover crash six miles south of Salina early Saturday evening.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2005 Chevy Silverado driven by Anthony R. Michael, 27, of Salina, attempted to pass a 1990 Ford Bronco driven by Bodhi R. Hannert, 18, of Salina, as the Bronco attempted to turn west onto K-4 Highway from Assaria Road just before 6:30 p.m.

The Chevy struck the Ford, proceeded into a ditch, and rolled over on its top.

Michael, and an occupant of his pickup, Danielle H. Robinson, 27, of Enterprise, were taken to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment of their injuries.

Hannert, and two occupants of his vehicle, Saengphet J. Soulivong, 19, of Salina, and Kristian R. Keyser, 17, of Salina, were not injured.

Hannert, both occupants of his vehicle, and Michael were all wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. Robinson was not properly restrained, according to the Highway Patrol.
