Near Freezing Temperatures Expected Early Tuesday Morning

Early Tuesday morning lows will fall into the 30s area wide. This will result in frost over parts of central Kansas.

  • Tonight – Patchy frost after 5 a.m. Otherwise, clear, with a low around 33. North northwest wind 11 to 16 mph becoming light north after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 23 mph.
  • Tuesday – Areas of frost before 8 a.m. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 68. Light and variable wind becoming south southeast 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon.
  • Tuesday Night – Mostly clear, with a low around 45. South southeast wind around 8 mph.
  • Wednesday – A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. Increasing clouds, with a high near 72. South wind 7 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.
  • Wednesday Night – A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 55. South wind 8 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
  • Thursday – A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after 1 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 74.
  • Thursday Night – A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 59. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
