A Few Severe Storms Possible Tonight

A few severe thunderstorms are possible late Sunday afternoon into Sunday night, along a slow moving front across southern Kansas. Isolated occurrences of large hail and damaging winds will be the main hazards, along with localized heavy rain and flooding.

  • Monday – Partly sunny, with a high near 72. North northeast wind 6 to 9 mph becoming east southeast in the afternoon.
  • Monday Night – A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60. East southeast wind around 8 mph.
  • Tuesday – A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 79. South southwest wind 8 to 10 mph.
  • Tuesday Night – A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60.
  • Wednesday – A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 80.
  • Wednesday Night – A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52.
  • Thursday – Mostly sunny, with a high near 69.
  • Thursday Night – A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 48.
